“Bring 5 kg of cotton to school”

A secondary school teacher in the city of Ferghana (following the teacher’s request, the school’s name will not be disclosed) wrote to UGF that teachers were forced to collect 5 kg of cotton per day and bring it to school.

“The cotton harvest season is over, and we went back to our school on Monday (November 7). However, now the director told us that we need to bring 5 kg of cotton  to the school per day. Today, after work, I went to the fields to collect my 5 kg. Tomorrow I’ll take the cotton with me to school.”
